Licences and Permits

At Byron Aerials your safety and the safety of others is our priority, all our pilots are fully licensed and accredited through the Australian governments civil aviation safety authority. We are fully insured and have our drones regularly maintained. Our chief pilot Craig Parry has been a registered UAV pilot with CASA for the past 15 years.

Byron aerials also is accredited to fly at close proximity to talent and we are also are able to fly and film at night. We have also been accredited to fly at close proximity to cetaceans in commonwealth waters with a special permit from the Australian Department of Environment.
